OnePlus earlier this week, announced the launch date in India. They teased the release of two phones in India on the 28th of April. Today, the company has today OnePlus announced that they would unveil the OnePlus 10R and launch the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in India. Both of the devices have yet to be revealed worldwide. OnePlus has teased some details about the new devices in advance of the event.
This teaser site available on Amazon India confirms that the 10R will have the capability of fast charging up to 150W right out of the gate. Furthermore teaser, the teaser affirms the 10R is, in essence, a OnePlus Ace. OnePlus Ace is launching in China in the coming months. OnePlus 10R India Launch Confirmed
OnePlus confirms that the 10R will go on sale in India in April. Its Amazon microsite also confirms a few essential specifications that the device will come with. The forthcoming OnePlus phone will have 150W quick charge support. The device is an upgraded version of the Realme GT Neo 3, and it will come with a 4500 mAh battery. It's not known whether the 5,000mAh battery model with 80W fast charging will find the journey to India.
The microsite also reveals that the phone comes with a triple camera arrangement at the rear and one with a hole-punch display in the front. The hole punch is situated in the middle of the front display, different from the previous OnePlus phones. The phone is expected to have a MediaTek Dimensity SoC. The phone is expected to come in 8GB and 12GB RAM models with 128GB/256GB storage.
The camera set-up will include an IMX766 Sony sensor with 50MP, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a macro 2MP camera. It does not include an alarm slider on the 10R.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G India Launch
Alongside the 10R, The company will also unveil the Nord CE 2 5G Lite in India. This listing from Amazon states that this phone comes with a mAh battery of 5,000 mAh and supports fast charging of 33W. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner that is mounted on the side. We have previously exclusively stated that CE 2 Lite 5G will be available on the market in Black and Jade Fog color options.
The phone could have the Snapdragon 695 processor, with as much as 8GB of RAM. It will have a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display and support 90Hz refresh rates. The camera on the rear is expected to include the primary camera with 64MP and two sensors of 2MP for macro and depth-sensing. For selfies, there'll be front camera sensors of 16MP. Both phones will come with Android 12.3-based OxygenOS 12 right out from the factory.
